PARIS, France – July 10, 2024 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, expanding the reach of Galaxy AI through wearables designed for comprehensive wellness. These additions are central to Samsung’s vision of enhancing digital health with personalized insights and tailored experiences.

Galaxy Watch7: Comprehensive Wellness

The Galaxy Watch7 is designed to help you understand and improve your overall wellness. It tracks over 100 workouts, allows you to build routines, and offers real-time race performance comparisons. The Body Composition feature provides a detailed snapshot of your fitness.

The watch includes an advanced AI algorithm for sleep analysis and an FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature. It monitors heart rate, offers Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Blood Pressure (BP) readings, and tracks Advanced Glycation End-products (AGEs) for insights into metabolic health.


Powered by a 3nm processor, Galaxy Watch7 delivers a seamless experience with faster performance and improved power efficiency. It features a Dual-frequency GPS for precise location tracking, even in dense urban areas.


With Samsung’s iconic circle design, new watch bands, and various watch faces, you can match your style. The watch offers seamless integration with Galaxy devices, including intelligent Suggested replies and Double Pinch Gestures for easy control.


Available in 40mm (Green and Cream) and 44mm (Green and Silver).



Galaxy Watch Ultra: Maximizing Performance

The Galaxy Watch Ultra, the most powerful addition to the Galaxy Watch lineup, builds on the advanced health monitoring and hardware of the Galaxy Watch7. It features a new cushion design for enhanced protection, a Dynamic Lug System for comfort, and a Titanium Grade 4 frame with 10ATM water resistance for extreme durability.

The Ultra operates from 500 meters below sea level to 9,000 meters high, making it perfect for activities from ocean swimming to high-altitude cycling. It includes a Multi-sports tile for triathlons and Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling, measuring maximum power with AI metrics.


An advanced Personalized HR Zone ensures optimal workout intensity, while a Quick Button allows instant workout control and other functions. An Emergency Siren adds a layer of safety.


The Galaxy Watch Ultra offers dedicated watch faces that switch to Night Mode for optimal readability in the dark, and with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, it remains visible even in bright sunlight. It boasts the longest battery life in the Galaxy Watch lineup, with up to 100 hours in Power Saving and 48 hours of Exercise Power Saving.


Available in a 47mm size, the Galaxy Watch Ultra comes in Titanium Gray, Titanium White, and Titanium Silver. Both the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are powered by Wear OS 5, offering advanced performance, power efficiency, and access to popular apps, including Galaxy services, Google apps, and third-party favorites.

Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available for pre-order in select markets starting July 10, with general availability beginning July 31.
