Flow Like the River

A few weeks ago, I lost my offshore client of more than 2 years; she closed down her business.

Unlike most VAs who have more than 2 clients in their portfolio, I chose to only have 2. Not because it was already financially sustaining or because I couldn’t get additional clients, but because it was a choice I wanted. Just 2 clients and that’s more than enough that I can handle at the moment. I know that I am capable of dropping all in the name of work, and the kids are definitely my priority so they come first.

Now that 1 of them has closed its chapter on my freelancing journey, it has opened new avenues to use my time at night for life-giving activities. Decluttering, listen to lo-fi music while sipping hot cocoa, reading a book, writing in a journal, playing with the kids before they go to bed, or playing on my phone. Ano kaya magawa naman bukas ng gabi?

Life is amazing.

I haven’t looked for a new client yet. At the moment I’m just feeling it, the free time.

I am tuned in, tapped in, and turned on. And I will flow as to where this river goes for me.

No paddling, no maneuvering, just flowing.
