Back in February 2020, I was at the Big Bad Wolf book sale at World Trade Center wearing a face mask. There was abuzz already about a virus in China, and I was already taking precautions. Plus, in January 2020, we started wearing face masks due to the eruption of Mount Tall. I just continued wearing masks in February and when the world turned to a halt, starting in March 2020. For 3 years, Big Bad Wolf was just available online. So when there was an announcement for a face-to-face and physical BBW sale again this year, I was thrilled. I have other things to do that week but I tried to squeeze in 4 hours for travel and shopping at BBW.
On June 28, a holiday, Ate Z and I went to PICC to buy books at the Big Bad Wolf 2023 book sale. Here's our haul and my thoughts about the recent sale.
