We have not had any homeschool year opening traditions before but this year I made sure we did. I want the kids to remember that the start of the formal homeschool year (we homeschool all-year round) is fun and to look forward to. We planned to kick off the first day with a field trip but the trip came 3 days earlier than scheduled. The kids visited Kidzoona at UP Town Center for their first field trip this homeschool year 2018-2019.
I reckon my children can practice role-playing, meet with other kids, run, climb, slide, and do other sort of things at the playground. Active bodies help the brain.
The branch in UPTC is bigger than in Waltermart Makati. I heard the biggest is at Fairview Terraces.
Here's the price list for kid's entrance:
1 adult is free to enter for every child. An additional adult can enter and would have to pay Php100/head.
Socks is required but just in case you forgot yours, they sell for 30 pesos a pair.
After paying, we were given the numbers to our shoes' lockers. It's small so I got one big locker for my bag. There's a deposit of 100 pesos for the bag locker which you can get when you leave and return the key.
They also have a water dispenser and some cups at the registration counter.
By the way, keep your paper and official receipt. It will be presented when you leave the playground.
Here are some pics I got:
This branch offer party packages and I got to get a peek of the party room. Mukhang malaki naman.
Also, I got a VIP membership card for 100 pesos. Just like your loyalty cards at malls, you get points when you visit any Kidzoona branch. And use the accumulated points to purchase an entrance ticket. It is valid for 3 years. So kahit sa Makati kami pumunta, may points pa din. Not bad!
After 3 hours of playing, the kids are happy and hungry. Ha! Ha! And Z has been asking when are we going back. Next time na anak, matagal tagal pa. Sa ibang branch naman try natin. :)
Why Kidzoona?
Our Bunso, Toddler I, has been walking unaided these past few weeks and I wanted him to practice walking at a safe place while the other two kids are also having fun. Developing the kids' motor skills is also important for their growth. We couldn't do that in conventional museums or venues. Hence, I've decided for an indoor playground for our homeschool field trip.I reckon my children can practice role-playing, meet with other kids, run, climb, slide, and do other sort of things at the playground. Active bodies help the brain.
Kidzoona UP Town Center
Kidzoona is located at the second floor of the second phase of UP Town Center. It is beside Abensons and near True Value. It recently opened and we wanted to try it. The last time we were at Kidzoona (Waltermart Makati) was in 2015, before I gave birth to Z. Ang tagal na!The branch in UPTC is bigger than in Waltermart Makati.
