Manila Marriott Hotel Connecting Rooms Experience

We rarely go out of Metro Manila because for one, we do not have our own car, and two, it is more expensive to travel out of town. Most of our family affairs are spent at home or we do staycations. Last July, we spent three days at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay to celebrate four family milestones, one of which is Z's birthday. We got two connecting rooms and I'd like to share them with you through these photos.

Deluxe Room Double

This room has:

  • double beds
  • marble bathroom, separate bathtub and shower
  • a mini-fridge
  • coffee maker
  • mini bar
  • Hair dryer
  • Desk, writing / work, with ergonomic chair, and electrical outlet
  • Alarm Clock
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Safe
  • 40-inch TV with cable channels
  • DVD player
  • Radio
  • iPod dock

Sliding door to bathroom

Peek a boo! You can press a button to mechanically pull the screen down or have it all the way up like this so you can see what's happening in the room. I appreciated this when one of the kids won't get off the bathtub and I have other things to do in the room. I can watch them while they are in the tub.

Junior Suite

We stayed at the connecting room - a Junior Suite. The Junior Suite features a spacious living area that is separate from the sleeping area. Our room had a golf view and we can also see from afar the Skyway.

There's a door that needs to be unlocked by room service so that you can pass through both rooms.

  • 1 king-sized bed
  • marble bathroom, separate bathtub and shower
  • double vanity in the bathroom
  • powder room
  • lighted makeup mirror
  • sofa
  • chair
  • Desk, writing / work, with ergonomic chair, and electrical outlet
  • alarm clock
  • iron and ironing board
  • mini bar
  • mini refrigerator
  • coffee maker
  • silverware
  • dishes and glasses
  • cordless phone, voicemail, and speaker phone
  • 2 TVs (1 in the bedroom, 1 in the living area)
  • DVD player
  • Radio
  • iPod dock

Two doors on both sides of the wall closes and gives privacy to the sleeping area from the living area

This is how the bathroom looks like when the screen (window) is fully down.

His and Hers

We also enjoyed the swimming pool of the hotel. Well, we all stayed at the kiddie pool so we can watch over the kids. I appreciate that a part of the kids' pool has a fabric canopy so that the kids won't get sunburned.

In-Room Dining

We had senior citizens and little kids with us so we opted to have in-room dining instead of going down the restaurant or the mall to eat. Room service came with table, silverware, and water. Here are some of the food we ordered during our stay:

Man Ho

We were celebrating as a big family and had dinner at Marriott's restaurant, Man Ho. Man Ho is an authentic Chinese cuisine showcasing traditional Cantonese dishes; reservations are required though.

Our reserved dining room has it's own restroom! How cool is that?

Patungan pa lang ng plate yan! Ang sosyal.

We had a wonderful stay with great memories at Marriott Hotel. The kids are even happier with the stay and are asking when we will go back. Ha!
