Good morning, Anilao! |
With our very good friends, our family spent a weekend in one of Batangas' dive resorts. It's been a long time since the group had an outing and we really wanted to catch up with everyone.
We agreed to have car pool, 10 adults and 3 kids divided into 3 cars. Our journey started at our meeting place - Shell station along SLEX southbound, the first one after Alabang exit. Our son, little V was excited that when we stopped at the gas station he asked, "Mama, beach na 'to?"(Is this the beach)? Ha ha!
The group convoyed going to Anilao, Batangas where the boat was waiting. It took us more than 2 hours from Shell station to the resort's parking space/port. The month of May is when many of the festivities happen around the Philippines, so expect some heavy traffic when you pass towns outside Manila.
Our boat ride took only less than 15 minutes to reach the resort.

We all stayed at their sea view studio rooms that open up to a full view of the sea. It's a real nature getaway since there are no TVs in the rooms. No WiFi except at the lounge. A real escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

The rooms have 2 queen size beds, a private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower. Each room includes bath towels and basic toiletries.

Their rates include 3 buffet meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast), afternoon snack, roundtrip boat transfers, and unlimited coffee, tea, and drinking water.
For non-divers, around the resort offers a quick snorkeling area. You can rent aqua shoes and snorkeling gears if you were unable to bring yours. But for us who brought a 3 year old, we're good swimming in their swimming/training pool.

Their dining area and lounge are located on the second floor. On the third floor, you can relax at their sundeck with cabanas and hammocks.

The resort has a game room not only for the adults but also for kids. There are several toys the kids can choose from - blocks, board games, wooden blocks, etc. Books were also available for the little ones. No need to worry about the floor, there are native and rubber mats they can use while playing. For the young-at-hearts, billliards and table tennis are available.

ReplyDeleteHi! Considering that the rate per head includes the boat transfers, 3 meals, and a merienda, I can say that the price is just right. Thank you for dropping by! :)
