Royal Easter Egg Hunt Party at Ace Hotel and Suites

Easter Sunday is the time to rejoice for the tomb is empty and the Lord has risen. Our kids are excited for Easter as it means they can hunt eggs and be part of the celebration. This year we went to celebrate Easter with our friends and their children at the Royal Easter Egg Hunt Party at Ace Hotel and Suites in Pasig City.

In the mid of holy week, we purchased a voucher from Metrodeal.com for the event. One voucher was for one adult and one kid pass at 629 pesos only instead of Php899. Since we have 3 kids, our Bunso was the kid partner of one of our friends’ companion. Overall, I only spent Php1,258 for our family.

Royal party means the kids need to wear costumes. Z still has her princess dress and Kuya V his bandit/Zorro outfit from Halloween. Bunso was supposed to wear his Iron Man costume but the fabric was too uncomfortable for him because of the temperature last Sunday. When I tried to change his outfit at the hotel, he didn’t want to change so we just let him wear his polo instead.

The event was at 2PM on the third floor of the building. The registration was organized and we we got our tickets/stubs and loot bag for each of the kids with ease. The event area was huge – there were game booths, face painting, a stage, chairs for kids, and chairs for the adults. The area for the food was in another room.

Our kids didn’t waste time and started to queue for their turns at the booths. They also painted their eggs at the egg painting area. If there’s one disappointment though was that Kuya V was waiting for the kids to roam around and look for eggs. The only egg hunting that happened that day was when they searched for eggs from a pool filled with shredded paper.

The program started before 3PM. There were games for the kids and adults, a magic show, and parade of costumes for judging. Kids were excited!

For the food, each adult and kid gets popcorn, ice cream, pasta, garlic bread, chicken pops, apple candy, and iced tea. Food was more than enough that we had to bring home the rest that we were not able to finish.

We got avocado and cookies and cream variants

Me and my mommy friends have vowed to make a “career” out of the costume contest in next year's Easter party. Haha!

We have been to other egg hunting parties but so far this one is the best we’ve been to. Will we go back next year? Yes and we might add to swim at their spa as well.
