Pay Pag-Ibig Contributions through GCash App

Even after transitioning to a stay-at-home mom five years ago, I did not stop paying for my government contributions. I moved from employed to a voluntary member in Pag-Ibig. And every month I pay my contributions through Bayad Center. Last month, I was looking for other ways to pay my SSS contributions and stumbled upon tinkering the GCash app on my phone. I did not find what I was looking for, but I learned that I could pay my Pag-Ibig contributions through GCash.

Why GCash?

I use GCash mainly to withdraw PayPal funds, load my loved ones' prepaid numbers, use it as a debit card for online shopping, and pay my Globe postpaid bill.

When I don't have any PayPal funds, I can simply cash-in or load my GCash account through 7-11 convenience stores.

And what I liked most about GCash is that I get rebates for my transactions. Yay!

How to Pay

First you need to have a GCash account. Login to your account.

From the Main Menu, click on Pay Bills.

Next select Government.

Scroll down and click on Pag-Ibig.

In the drop-down menu on Type, select Members Contribution. Fill-out the rest of the form. Click Next.

Once completed, your screen will show your reference number. On the upper right corner, there's an icon you can click to download a copy of your transaction.

Yay! Now I don't have to go every month at Bayad Center to pay for my contributions. I can now pay it wherever and whenever I want. Hurray for technology!

    1. Usually pag third party like payment center and GCash hindi kaagad nagrereflect sa system ng government agencies. Usually ilang days pa bago mag reflect. Best to ask Globe na lang po for your query.
