Staycation | 3-Bedroom Suite at Discovery Suites Ortigas

We've been frequenting Discovery Suites Ortigas since our first staycation in 2014. It's our family's favorite venue for celebrations.

Earlier this year we celebrated Little V and my sis-in-law's birthdays in a weekend staycation with families from both sides. We checked in on Saturday, had a birthday lunch on Sunday, and went home on Monday. Our little family and my in-laws got the 3-bedroom suite while my side of the family stayed in a 1-bedroom suite (my siblings were not available to spend a night at the hotel).

The 3-bedroom suite is spacious at 140 square meters, giving us plenty of room to move about.

The living area has a lounge sofa, coffee table, cable television and a mini component.

The suite features a Master’s bedroom with a king-sized bed and its own toilet and bath (this is where the bath tub is). The second room is furnished with a queen-sized bed and the third, two single beds.

Since we were a big crowd and didn't want to dine out, the great cooks in the family prepared us sumptuous meals. It was great that the Dining and Kitchen facilities included a refrigerator, stove,  oven, complete cooking and dining implements, microwave, and a coffee and tea-making machine. Savings! Ka-ching! Ka-ching!

Our birthday boy with his cake provided for free by the hotel. They also prepared a birthday banner and a 5R-sized compilation of his photos. Cool, eh?

Tip: Accommodation only includes breakfast. To save (specially if you are a big group), do your groceries in Megamall or Robinsons so you can cook in your suite.
