Citizen Services: Helping Filipinos Transact with Government Agencies

I hate queues. I don't like the idea of sitting (or in some cases, standing!) still for hours when I could be doing something else.

I admire the patience that my mother has when it comes to dealing with government agencies. She was the one who would go to National Statistics Office (NSO) and wait in queue for hours before she can get copies of our birth certificates.

I think most Filipinos would agree that if they were given a choice between lining up for hours at a government agency for a document, and getting the same document at the comfort of their own homes, they would choose the latter. We are all for time-saving and effective ways of doing things.

So when our time came to prepare documents for our wedding, I had to look for an alternative to visiting these agencies. That was when I came across NSO Helpline.

Pilipinas Teleserv has been providing dynamic services to Filipinos with cutting-edge customer management solutions and innovative business process outsourcing services for 14 years. Primary of these solutions is Citizen Services, an integrated customer service solution that has changed the way people transact with government agencies.

NSO helpline

After calling their call center and paying through the bank, our birth certificates and CENOMARs were delivered to our house in a couple of days. By then I knew I finally found a partner.

We also used NSO Helpline when we requested for a marriage certificate and Little V's birth certificate. I didn't call them since we did not have a landline phone yet in our house, do you know how I requested for it? Through their chat support. Cool, right?

You can also request death certificates from them and have it delivered right to your doorstep.

DFA Passport Appointment System

Applying for a passport has become more convenient as applicants can now plan their visits to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) offices. We used their DFA Appointment System in 2011 and 2012 when we applied for our passports at the SM Megamall DFA satellite office. It was also convenient that you can have your passports delivered to your house. We requested for its delivery at the DFA office when we had our appearance. A few weeks later, hello passports!

We have been happy with the services of Pilipinas Teleserv that we have recommended this to our families and friends.

SEC Express System – Online Processing and Delivery of SEC Documents

I was able to experience having to apply for a corporation at SEC more than a decade ago. The incorporation eats much of your time that's why I was delighted to know that you can now have your SEC documents be requested online. No need to go to the SEC to get plain or authenticated copies anymore. Documents like articles of incorporation/partnership, by-laws, general information sheet, increase/decrease of capital stock, audited financial statements, registration data sheet, resolution (minutes), secretary’s certificate, board resolution, and other documents can now be requested easily.

You can pay for your document requests using VISA or MasterCard. Your documents will be delivered anywhere in the Philippines within 3 working days.

Hotline: (02) 7378888 Monday to Saturday, from 8AM-5PM.
