Lavender Essential Oil

I've always loved the scent of Lavender. It soothes my senses, relaxes my whole being. Very therapeutic.


I don't have a diffuser nor potpourri. So before sleeping, I usually drop a few of this essential oil on our bedroom curtain to give us a zen-like atmosphere before we doze off. Both my boys love this scent, too.

Lavender oil is not just all calming. In fact, in some areas around the world, it is used as remedy for headaches, eczema, stress, and minor burns. It also helps you sleep better.

I use this oil whenever my family has colds. I put a drop or two of lavender oil on their bed sheets to help them with their sinusitis. It's my alternative to Vicks vapor rub.

Good thing I can get essential oils just about anywhere here in the Philippines. But my favorite is the Giga Healthy Home Lavender Essential Oil. I purchased mine for Php130 at Sesou Nature Source. One bottle normally lasts me from 1.5 to 2 months.
